Dan at the Debate

Dan chats with supporters outside BCC's Robert Boland Theater a few minutes before the debate.

If you saw Pittsfield Community Television’s preliminary election debate on Monday night, then you already know the news: it was a good night for Dan, and for everyone who shares his ideals of more effective, more open government for all. The debate, which was cosponsored by the Pittsfield Gazette and hosted by Berkshire Community College, was the perfect forum for a free exchange of ideas. Here’s what Dan said afterward:

“I tried to communicate my faith in the strength and ability of our community. I believe I got that message across, and I think voters will respond well to being treated like grown-ups… I laid out my honest views on the issues – no equivocating and no dodging. Now this election is really in the hands of the voters.”

If you didn’t catch the debate, don’t worry: PCTV has posted it online. You can watch it by clicking on this link. After you’re done watching, tell your friends and neighbors about it too.

As always, we were incredibly grateful to our volunteers, who showed up ahead of time and stood out in the early-fall chill holding signs and telling folks about Dan. Their hard work is appreciated.

Third Thursday, September 15
